About Us

Venables Machine Works Ltd. was founded in the early 1930s as a custom machining and fabricating shop. The company has since grown to meet the needs of a changing industrial market. Venables has adapted to a changing industry by expanding services to include large-scale, more complex manufacturing. Today, the company has clients in agriculture, construction, food processing, manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, and trucking.

Venables uses the newest software and technology for design, project management, invoicing, shipping and keeping you up-to-date on the status of your project. In 2002, Venables in Saskatoon doubled in size and has a fully upgraded facility to take on complex projects. Current building capacity:

• (3) 10 ton, (2) 7 ½ ton, (4) 5 ton and (1) 25 ton overhead bridge cranes
• 32’ Under the Hook
• (2) 15-ton Mobile Cranes
• 36,000 sq. ft. facility
• 40 foot sidewalls
• 30' x 30' overhead door

Our network system is designed to ensure that all projects go smoothly, meet deadlines and stay on budget regardless of size or complexity. Venables has also invested in retaining professional, highly trained tradespeople to manage each project effectively and safely.
